Your details, kept simple.
This page explains what we collect when you contact us, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. We wrote it in plain words. If anything is unclear, ask us.

Who we are
UnboxedAI is a software, AI and media studio. It works through two companies: Unboxed Marketing Pvt Ltd, Office 27, 3rd Floor, Pakland City Center, I-8 Markaz, Islamabad, Pakistan, and Unboxed Digital LLC, 5016 Williamsburg Road, Henrico, Virginia 23231, United States. We decide how your details are used, so we are responsible for them (in GDPR terms, the "controller").

What we collect
When you send us a brief, the form on this site opens a ready-to-send email in your own email app. The site itself does not send or store what you type. When you press Send, we receive:
- your name and email address
- your company name and country, if you give them
- the services you pick
- your message
When you email or call us, we receive your email address or phone number and what you tell us.
When you visit the site, your browser sends the usual technical details: your IP address, browser type and the page you asked for. Our web hosting provider receives them.
We do not ask for sensitive details, such as health or financial information. Please do not put them in a message.
Why we use it
We use your details for three things:
- To reply to you. We read your message, answer questions and prepare a first plan or quote.
- To run a project with you, if you decide to work with us.
- To keep the site working and safe.
We do not use your details for newsletters or advertising. If we ever want to, we will ask you first.
A person reads every message. We do not use automated systems to make decisions about you, and we do not put your message into AI tools.
The legal basis, in plain words
UK and EU data law asks us to name a reason for using your details. Ours are:
- You asked us to. When you send an enquiry, we use your details to take the steps you asked for. If we agree a contract, we use them to run it (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).
- A fair business need. We keep the site secure and keep a record of past enquiries, as you would expect (Article 6(1)(f), "legitimate interests").
- The law requires it. We keep invoices and contracts for as long as tax law says (Article 6(1)(c)).
How long we keep it
We keep your details only for as long as we need them to reply to you and to run any project that follows, and after that only where tax or accounting law requires it. You can ask us to delete your details sooner. See "Your rights".
Who else handles it
We do not sell your details, and we never share them for anyone else's marketing.
A few services handle data for us, only to do their job:

This site loads no third-party fonts, scripts, trackers or analytics. Everything on the page comes from our own server.
Where your details go
We work from Islamabad, Pakistan, and Henrico, Virginia, in the United States. When you contact us, your details come to us in one or both of these countries.
The UK and the EU have not ruled that Pakistan's laws protect data to their standard. We protect your details with the same care wherever they are: only the people who need them can see them.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- see the details we hold about you, and get a copy
- correct anything that is wrong
- delete your details
- stop or limit how we use them, or object to a use
- move them to another service, in a common file format
Email info@unboxedai.net. We will reply within one month and will not charge you. We may ask you to confirm who you are first, so we do not give your details to someone else.
In the UK or the EU, these rights come from the UK GDPR and the EU GDPR. If you are unhappy with our answer, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk). In the EU, contact the data protection authority in your country.
In Pakistan, the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act 2016 (PECA) makes it a crime to obtain, sell or use someone's identity information without permission. We never do that. You can ask us for the same access, correction and deletion described above, and we will honour it.
In the UAE, the Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021) gives you similar rights to see, correct and delete your data, and to object to its use. Ask us and we will act on your request in the same way.
Cookies and similar tools
Our site sets no cookies.
If you switch between the light and dark look, your browser remembers the choice on your device (in "local storage", under the name ub-theme). It stays on your device and is never sent to us.
Your browser also keeps a copy of the pages you open on this site, so they load faster and still open without a connection. That copy stays on your device. You can clear both in your browser settings.
Children
Our site and services are for businesses. We do not knowingly collect details from anyone under 16. If you think a child has sent us their details, tell us and we will delete them.
Keeping your details safe
Only the people who need your details to reply or run your project can see them. The site uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS). No system is perfectly secure. If a breach puts your details at risk, we will tell you and the regulator where the law requires it.
Changes to this page
If we change how we use your details, we will update this page and the date at the top. If a change matters to you, for example a new use of your details, we will tell you before it applies.
